The majority of the top players in the world have taken the week off but plenty of excitement surrounds the event as players look to pick up valuable FedEx Cup points.Jim Furyk has some work to do Friday to catch first-round leader Paul Casey. Paul Casey shot a 7-under 64 to lead the Transitions Championship. Click here for the Friday tee times.Furyk is going to repeat, he will have to defeat the top player in the world, Martin Kaymer. SinceTiger Woods has been dethroned.

Transitions Championship is a men's professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, and is played annually on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida.

The players with the most wins in the event are Retief Goosen, and K. J. Choi. Goosen is also the tournament's leading money winner, with over $2,000,000 in earnings at the event.
